History
On 16 September 2008, Piaggio chairman Roberto Colaninno presented the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, with a special version of the new Ape Calessino decorated with the insignia of the Quirinale Palace, marking the 60th anniversary of the Constitution of the Italian Republic (1948-2008). A copy of the vehicle can be seen at the Piaggio Museum.
