Vespa Pezzo Unico (Vesparte)

In 2001, Piaggio organised the Vesparte competition. Fourteen Vespa ET4 scooters were entered, interpreted with a mixture of art and design. The winner was Nicolino Di Carlo (Piaggio Style Centre) with the Vespa “Pezzo Unico”, where the artist restores to the industrial object what mass production had taken away: the ability to be a work of art.
