La Mandriola Farmhouse

Podere Mandriola and Podere Ragone are 19th-century farmhouses recovered and restored by the Barbafieri family, preserving the typical architecture of Tuscan farmhouses.

While Podere Mandriola is composed of two cottages with exclusive swimming pools, located in a panoramic position towards Lajatico and Maestro Andrea Bocelli's Theatre of Silence, Podere Ragone is instead equipped with 17 flats, located in various buildings, ranging in size from 35 to 90 square metres, and accommodating up to six people.

Situated on a hillside, both structures offer a temperate climate and breathtaking views of Volterra and Montecatini Val di Cecina, with its tower dominating the Era and Cecina valleys.

Villa Maria - Bed and Breakfast

An old 19th-century farmhouse, restored in traditional Tuscan style, the Villa Maria bed and breakfast is a synonym for professionalism, luxury and courtesy.

Entirely run by Simone, a young manager and a fervent supporter of the distinctive philosophy of country B&Bs, the structure is a blend of the mellow homely atmosphere and charming details, evident in the themed furnishings that characterise each room, personally chosen by the host.

Surrounded by cascades of wisteria and the scent of lavender, an intercontinental breakfast is served every morning on a veranda overlooking an exclusive swimming pool framed by its stunning flower garden.

The Cevoli Country Resort, built in the 1940's as the outbuilding of a farm, is an alternative to the conventional country guesthouse. In the heart of the Valdera area, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and orchards, the Resort, it is very well connected to the main routes in Tuscany: the ‘FI-PI-LI’, the superhighway connecting Florence, Pisa and Livorno, is 10 minutes away, while the International Airport can be reached in 25 minutes. Nonetheless, it retains a powerful and timeless charm, with eight elegantly furnished flats, a swimming pool with a large sun deck amidst the olive groves, and a lovely park where guests can admire our vegetable and fruit gardens.

Villa Sonnino

Built in the 16th century, the Villa Sonnino houses the hotel and restaurant under the same name, as well as a conference centre with several rooms. The property is located halfway up the slope of a hill, in the heart of Tuscany: the Valdarno, between Pisa and Florence, in La Catena - San Miniato.

The keen observer's eye may notice the nearby hillside of a recently restored parish church and the village that it overlooks: Cigoli. Immediately below, it is equally possible to spot a long avenue of cypress trees, ascending and eventually merging into a larger grove, in which the outline of a building can be glimpsed: Villa Sonnino.
