Mondadori Bookstore Pontedera
The Mondadori Bookstore in Pontedera, opened on 24 September 2024 right in the city centre, promotes culture and reading with a wide selection of more than 15,000 titles.
Led by Antonio Verderame, at its thirteenth opening with Mondadori Store, the bookstore offers spaces dedicated to young readers (We are Junior), comic book enthusiasts (Just Comic) and #Booktok trends. Located in an old mansion, it houses a mural by artist Rame13 and a cloister for events and workshops.
As well as books, stationery, games, gifts and digital services for online shopping are available. The store participates in local cultural events and updates readers via social media. Owner Antonio Verderame is open and available to meet customers for any requests.

Libreria Carrara
Libreria Carrara has been operating in the area since 1927, founded by Athos Carrara, in the historical centre of Pontedera.
The structure is divided into a bookshop department and a stationery department.
The bookshop section is dedicated to the sale of fiction, non-fiction, legal and diverse manuals along with a large area for children's books and toys.
The stationery department, on the other hand, sells all school textbooks (elementary, middle and high school) with an interesting second-hand book section and an outlet for novels and fiction.
In addition, culture events are held with the involvement of national and local writers.
Fidelity cards allow customers to accumulate a credit and benefit from discounts.
