History
Before the 125, the 150 modified the scooter mechanics by adopting rotating distribution, enabling use of a 2% petrol-oil mixture. The carburettor was housed on the engine casing instead of on the cylinder as in the first 150 GS series. The inlet on the engine casing was regulated at each rotation by the opening and closing of the left crankshaft counterweight. Users appreciated the resulting benefits: smoother power delivery, fewer carbon deposits and lower running costs.
